Paraffin is a versatile, convenient, solid wax that performs miracles on many things- basic, dependable, and economical.
It can be melted between 50degC and 62degC with simple heating equipment, can easily flow to fill molds or cover surfaces without bubbles and holes. On cooling, it solidifies very easily with very little shrinkage and therefore you will not find cracks or lumpy surfaces in your products.
It is also extremely versatile: combine it with dyes, smell, or other waxes (soy or bee) and it melts together, without any clumping or separation. It fits whatever you require regardless of whether you are crafting candles, coatings, or even industrial parts.
Even better it is cost-effective, much cheaper than natural waxes such as beeswax but does not compromise quality. It preserves up to 12-24 months under cool dry conditions, does not spoil easily, and is a constant supply throughout the world, hence you never have to worry about it dropping out of stock unexpectedly.
An environmentally friendly, internationally certified and convenient to handle, it is a type of material that saves on time, agitation and costs- ideal to both larger and smaller firms.

Global compatibility: Paraffin wax finds wide application in many industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, manufacturing among others. Its versatility gives it a useful substance to a broad spectrum of uses.
Cost-Effective: Paraffin wax is relatively cheap compared to other types of waxes and is therefore a cost effective option to most industries commercial uses.
Easily Melted and Molded: Paraffin wax has a low melting point, thus easy to be melted and molded to take various shapes and sizes.
The property finds application especially in making candles, wax coating and other molding purposes.
Non-Toxic: Paraffin wax is thought to be harmless to human being. To give a glazing effect or used as a coating also in food products, and also in cosmetics as its emollient properties.

Metal Processing/ Rust Prevention.
Anti-rust metal coating on metal parts is commonly produced using paraffin wax. Hardware tools or auto parts are coated by melting paraffin wax and smearing it all over the surface of metal or steel parts to create an isolated layer that prevents the air and moisture to reach the surface and cause rust in their storage and transportation. It is also used as a lubricant to forging and stamping of metals, creating less friction between the metal and the mold and enhancing surface finishes of finished products.

Rubber & Plastic Industry
Paraffin wax is incorporated as a processing aid in rubber production (tires, hoses and sealing strips). It enhances the fluidity of the rubber compound during compounding and molding, eliminates the tendency of the rubber compound to be stuck to the mold, and the elasticity and abrasion resistance of the final rubber products. It finds application in the plastic industry as a lubricant and a mold release agent in polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) plastics, and lowers internal friction of plastic particles in processing and simplifies the process of demolding of plastic products.
Wood & Paper Processing
In case of low-grade wood products such as wooden pallets, construction formwork, and packaging boxes, waterproof coating is done using paraffin wax. Wood pores can be filled by immersion into the melted paraffin wax to make the wood resistant to water, and increase its service life. In paper industry, it is applied to create waterproof paper (packaging paper of cement, fertilizers, and food) and waxed paper. Application of paraffin wax on the paper provides good water repulsion and grease resistance. Textile IndustryIt is used as a discouraging agent and softener of textiles. In the weaving process, the surface of such yarns is covered with paraffin wax that makes the yarn more smooth and strong against breaking during the weaving process. It is also applicable in water repellent wrinkle resistant finishes on cloth and most particularly on outdoor clothes such as raincoats and tents.
Casting & Molding Industry
In precision casting, a paraffin wax is cast in wax patterns of the target parts. The refractory is applied to the wax pattern to create a shell of a mold; the wax is then melted and poured out leaving a cavity which corresponds to the shape of the part. The cavity is then filled with molten metal to create high-precision castings and is commonly used in the creation of aerospace, automotive, and mechanical parts.
Adhesives and Sealants Manufacturing.
Paraffin wax is added as an additive to hot melt adhesives and industrial sealants. It modifies the softening of the adhesives and their viscosity, strengthens their water resistance and weather resistance, and increases the bonding power of the sealants and their durability, which is befitting the sealing of construction joints, door and window gaps and others.

According to the refinement, it can be divided into three types: fully refined paraffin wax, semi-refined paraffin wax and crude paraffin wax. The first difference is oil content. Fully refined paraffin wax <0.5%. Semi-refined paraffin <2%. Crude wax ﹥2%.In addition to differences in oil content, they also have differences in color. The higher the oil content, the more yellow the color will be. But other aspects.
Each type of paraffin wax is divided into different varieties according to the melting point, generally every 2°C, such as 52, 54,56, 58 and other grades. Junda able to provide 52-66° paraffin wax.
