Paraffin wax is a white or colourless soft solid which is a by-product of petroleum, coal, or oil shale. It consists of a blend of straight-chain alkanes whose carbon chain lengths are usually C 2 0 to C 4 0. This manufacturing process involves refining the crude oil by undergoing such stages as distillation, dewaxing and purification to get the final product which satisfy different application requirements. The unique properties have been applied in industry, daily life, agriculture, and other spheres more than a century.

The paraffin wax at room temperature is a brittle crystalline solid of waxy luster. It melts easily with a temperature ranging between 46 °C and 64°C. On heating it beyond its melting point it becomes a clear, viscous liquid; on cooling it returns to its usual state without any serious alteration in its chemical structure, and is thus thermally reversible.Chemical Inertness
Chemical structure
The chemical structure of the paraffin wax is stable since it consists primarily of saturated alkanes. It is not readily reduced by acids, bases or salts, or even most organic solvents, at normal conditions. It is non-degradable, oxidation retarded, and can have its properties constant over a large period of time when kept under optimal conditions (not in high temperature and an open fire).
Waterproof and Moisture-Proof Performance
Paraffin wax is an anti-hydronic substance which is non-absorbent of water. When coated to the surface of an object, it is capable of creating a thick, smooth film that is effective in preventing the infiltration of water vapor and liquid water, therefore, preventing the object to suffer the corrosion of moisture.
Electrical Insulation
Paraffin wax possesses great electrical insulation qualities. It is non-conductive, making it a good insulating material to be used in low-voltage electrical components and may help in preventing leakage of current and provide increasing safety of electrical appliances.
Lubricating Property
A solid lubricant, paraffin wax may be used to decrease friction between the contact surfaces of the mechanical parts. It is particularly appropriate in the working conditions when it is difficult to work with the liquid lubricants (high dust, low temperature conditions and so on), as a layer of lubricant could be created to provide the parts with the opportunities to wear less and last longer.

Junda Wax is Your Best Choice.
Contact Us Today to request our latest B2B price list and apply for a Commercial Sample.Based on internal testing and customer feedback data, 58–60 fully refined paraffin wax demonstrates stable performance in standard candle formulations: burn time is extended by approximately 5–10%, molding shrinkage is controlled at ≤2%, and fragrance retention is enhanced by about 10–15%. The product maintains excellent appearance and consistent burning characteristics across various climatic conditions, making it suitable for large-scale continuous production.
Founded in 2000, Junda Wax operates a factory spanning 10,000 square meters. With an annual export volume exceeding 30,000 tons, our products are shipped to over 50 countries and regions, and we have cumulatively served more than 300 international clients. All orders are supported by batch-specific Certificates of Analysis (COA) and third-party inspection documentation, ensuring full traceability and verifiable quality. Our standard lead time is 7–15 days, with a typical container load capacity of approximately 20–22 tons. We warmly invite you to visit our factory.

Junda Wax exports over 30,000 tons of paraffin wax products annually, having cumulatively served more than 300 international clients across over 50 countries and regions. For instance, in an application at a large-scale candle manufacturing facility in Southeast Asia, the client reported—after 12 consecutive months of procurement—that the product demonstrated excellent stability. This resulted in an approximate 8% increase in production pass rates, effectively mitigating production risks associated with fluctuations in raw material supplies.

Each product batch is accompanied by comprehensive testing data, including a Certificate of Analysis (COA)—detailing the batch number and testing date—as well as results for key performance indicators. All testing is conducted in accordance with ASTM standards; furthermore, third-party testing reports (e.g., SGS) and relevant REACH documentation are available upon request. Customers may access the data corresponding to their specific batch prior to shipment, thereby ensuring full procurement traceability and quality verification.

This product supports a flexible procurement model, with a typical Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) of 1 ton. The lead time for standard orders is approximately 7–15 days. We accommodate full 20-foot container shipments (approximately 20–22 tons) and, upon request, can provide long-term supply agreements and price-locking mechanisms—making this option ideal for traders and high-volume purchasers. The product is typically packaged in 25kg woven bags or cartons; each batch is clearly marked with the production batch number, manufacturing date, and product specifications. For export, shipments are loaded onto pallets or directly into full containers to ensure stability and traceability during transit, thereby meeting all international trade standards.

1. Are you treading company or manufacture?
We are Paraffin wax & candles manufacture with 10,000m2 factory in Fushun, china.
2. What is your payment terms and conditions?
We usually accept TT with 30% advance payment.
3. Classification of paraffin wax
According to the refinement, it can be divided into three types: fully refined paraffin wax, semi-refined paraffin wax and crude paraffin wax. The first difference is oil content. Fully refined paraffin wax <0.5%. Semi-refined paraffin <2%. Crude wax ﹥2%.In addition to differences in oil content, they also have differences in color. The higher the oil content, the more yellow the color will be. But other aspects.
