About Paraffin wax
It is mainly divided into two types: fully refined paraffin wax and semi-refined paraffin wax. The fully refined type is the "premium version", which undergoes deep purification, has a pure white color, no odor at all, and a fine and uniform texture; the semi-refined type is the "affordable version", which is not purified as thoroughly and may have a slight yellowish tint or a faint smell. The price is cheaper.
The temperament of paraffin wax is very "stable" - when heated to 52°C to 62°C, it will slowly melt. After melting, it has good fluidity, and when poured into molds and cooled, it can solidify steadily and is not prone to cracking or depression. Moreover, it does not pick "partners", and can blend well with dyes, fragrances, soy wax, beeswax and other wax types.
I. Fully Refined Paraffin Wax: Focus on High-End Premium Candles
Premium Scented Candles
This is the core application scenario of pure refined paraffin wax. It is colorless and odorless, with extremely high purity. It does not mask the original fragrance of the fragrance and can evenly absorb fragrance molecules, achieving a stable release of fragrance during combustion. From ignition to complete burning, the fragrance concentration remains consistent without the problem of "initial strong and then fading". At the same time, it burns without smoke or black stains, does not dirty glass candle holders or the home environment, and is the preferred raw material for luxury fragrance brands.
Decorative Wax Candles
Used for making complex-shaped carved candles, layered color candles, and holiday-themed candles (such as Christmas tree-shaped candles, heart-shaped candles). After solidification, the surface of pure refined paraffin wax is smooth and shiny, with extremely low shrinkage rate. It can perfectly replicate the fine patterns of the mold without cracks, depressions or deformation; moreover, the coloring is uniform, and the color boundaries are clear when multiple layers are poured, resulting in a high appearance level, suitable for gifts and home decoration markets.
Premium Taper Candles
These candles have high requirements for hardness and burning stability. Pure refined paraffin wax can meet the needs of upright candles without bending during burning, with the wax liquid flowing smoothly without dripping during burning. The flame is stable during combustion, without black smoke, and are suitable for high-end occasions such as Western banquets and weddings.
II. Semi-Refined Paraffin Wax: Affordable Daily Candles
Household Lighting Candles
This is the most traditional application scenario. Semi-refined paraffin wax has low cost and stable burning duration， meeting basic lighting needs， suitable for emergency backup， outdoor camping， etc.， and is also a mainstream product in some developing countries' markets.
Holiday Promotion Candles
Used for making Halloween pumpkin candles， Spring Festival blessing candles， birthday candles， etc.， low-priced and high-volume holiday products. It can basically meet the coloring and shaping requirements， although there is a slight smoke mark during burning， but the price advantage is obvious， suitable for large-scale production and low-price promotion.
Industrial Protective Candles
Such as wax strips for metal rust prevention， wood moisture-proof coating wax. These candles do not pursue aesthetics， only requiring basic wax coverage function. The cost advantage of semi-refined paraffin wax can maximize the reduction of production costs.
