About Crude Paraffin wax
Unrefined paraffin wax, also referred to as crude paraffin wax is a relatively cheap industrial, functional raw material that is commonly used in industrial and general purpose applications. It does not require complex deep-refining operations, which is why it is a convenient option to companies that are concerned with cost-management and operational performance.
Natural color and content of oil.
Natural oil content of crude paraffin wax is 2 to 5 percent and the color is light yellow-amber with mild and typical paraffin fragrance. It is not decolorized or deodorized thus it has the original physical properties that fully refined paraffin wax possesses.
Stable Melting Performance
The melting point of crude paraffin wax is typically between 50C and 60C, a relatively simple melting point that is not hard to attain using simple heating equipment. No high temperature processing is necessary so that saves energy and reduces costs of production.
Easy Processability
At elevated temperatures, Crude paraffin wax melts to a liquid that is easy to flow and clings to various surfaces (e.g. metal, wood, paper). It could be applied directly to coating, waterproofing or modelling without additional refining and adjustment, which could be suitable to small and medium-sized factory with simple equipments.
Good Storage Stability
Crude paraffin wax is not vulnerable to moisture and slight chemical corrosiveness Even when kept in long term it does not solidify in lumps or degrade easily, and provides uniformity in performance to further production.
Exceptional Additive Compatibility.
Fillers, lubricants and pigments and other additives are well mixed with crude paraffin wax. Indicatively, it can be modified to suit varying production requirements by adding stearic acid to change its level of hardness or adding talcum powder to alter its anti-sticking characteristics.

Crude Paraffin wax application.
1.Raw Material for Refining:
Used as feed-stock to manufacture paraffin wax of fully refined or semi-refined.
Industrial Lubricants:
Used as a lubricant in machinery and equipment that is cost-effective.
Rust Prevention:
Metal work Coats surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion.
Manufacturing Additive:
Applied in the processing of rubber, adhesives and some chemicals to improve texture and performance.
Construction Materials:
Applied in waterproofing concrete and wood.
Storage measures of Crude Paraffin waxStorage Environment.
Store it in a cool warehouse that is well ventilated and has a temperature of between 0degC-30degC. Direct exposure to sunlight and sources of heat (such as boilers, heaters) should be avoided because temperatures above 40degC may lead to partial melting, oils or agglomeration.
Ensure that the warehouse is not close to wet places like water pipes or wet walls. The humidity may result in surface moisture which may affect processing affects (e.g. un- even coating during production).
Packaging and Stacking Specifications.
Crude paraffin wax is usually packed in 25kg bags made of woven fabric or 1 ton bulk bags. Put the packages on pallets to separate them with the ground so that they do not come into contact with moisture that can be absorbed and the dirt.
Arrange the packages in a stack fashion up to a height of not more than 8-10 layers in order not to press the bags at the bottom and cause harm of the package and leakage of the wax.
Safety & Compatibility Notes
It is a non flammable solid although it should not be exposed to any oxidants, acids and alkalis so that it reacts to any chemical reaction to alter its properties.
Never confuse it with other types of waxes (i.e. fully refined paraffin, beeswax) when storing it so as to avoid any cross contamination that will affect the consistency of the product.
Shelf Life and Routine Inspection.
Crude paraffin wax Shelf life under proper storage conditions is 12-24 months.
Conducting periodic checks after every 1-2 months - check to see whether the package is damaged, there is any leakage of oil, agglomeration or mold. Eliminate and treat any spoiled goods as soon as they arise so that they do not contaminate the whole batch.

4.Classification of paraffin wax
According to the refinement, it can be divided into three types: fully refined paraffin wax, semi-refined paraffin wax and crude paraffin wax. The first difference is oil content. Fully refined paraffin wax <0.5%. Semi-refined paraffin <2%. Crude wax ﹥2%.In addition to differences in oil content, they also have differences in color. The higher the oil content, the more yellow the color will be. But other aspects.
Fully refined paraffin wax is the most common materials for candle making.Semi refined Paraffin wax is not too much difference compare to Fully refined type .and it should be noted that Semi refined paraffin wax is particularly suitable which have the same police with Fully and Semi refined paraffin wax
.The oil content of coarse paraffin is relatively high, and the color of the product is darker. Due to the above reasons and some other reasons, it is relatively poor quality compared with fully refined paraffin with the same melting point. The arse paraffin with higher oil content has lower tensile strength and is soft and fragile. Have a good thermal stability, a certain toughness and contractility.
in fact, the current technology is very mature. The oil content of some semi-refined and coarse waxes can also be controlled in a very low range. So it can meet the different needs of different customers.
5.About the Melting point of paraffin wax.
Each type of paraffin wax is divided into different varieties according to the melting point, generally every 2°C, such as 52, 54,56, 58 and other grades. Junda able to provide 52-66° paraffin wax.
