Crude paraffin wax is an unrefined or processed wax derived directly from petroleum. It contains a higher oil content compared to refined paraffin wax. Crude paraffin wax usually used as raw material in further processing or for industrial applications where doesn’t required high purity. Crude paraffin wax typically contains 5% to 15% oil, depending on the source and processing stage.

5. Density: The density of crude paraffin wax is typically around 0.9 g/cm³.
6. Solubility: It is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, and chloroform.
7. Viscosity: At room temperature, it is a solid, but it becomes a viscous liquid when melted.
8. Flammability: It is flammable and can be used as a fuel in some applications.
9. Uses: Commonly used in candle making, packaging, coatings, and as a raw material in various industrial processes.
