What Is Crude Paraffin Wax?
Crude paraffin wax or unrefined paraffin is unrefined paraffin before further refining. It is also naturally rich in oil (as a rule, 2%-5%) and is a bit darker in color (light yellow/amber). It is not overly purified like in the production of fully refined or semi-refined paraffin into its end product, therefore cheap but fully functional.
Key Characteristics
Naturally functional: The degree of oil content is between 2 per cent and 5 per cent therefore becomes quite flexible and lubricating. It is pale yellow to amber in colour and a natural smell (there are no strong odours).
Easy melting Most of them have melting points between 50 0 C and 60 0 C- can be melted, not special equipment needed to deal with high-temperature materials.
Minimal treatment requirements: It can be treated with minimum industrial process without further treatment. It can be poured easily, coating or a mixture even with the help of simple equipment.
Solid and firm: Resists the penetration of moisture and weak chemicals, and also does not leak when in storage. It is not easily degraded and therefore can be kept on stock with no worries.
Cost performance: It is an inexpensive unwaxable that is not beatable in the market. It is efficient and does not need further improving to be faithful, safe to use with huge orders and projects that have hard budgets.
Multi-purpose to industrial use: Does not need high purity? The paraffin wax crude is adequate. It is used in dozens of industrial and general uses to an extent that there is no need to switch between various waxes.
User friendly: It can melt, flows easily and adhesive to surfaces. It does not need any fancy upgrades, as it works with simple equipment and needs no extra costs by the small and medium-sized factories.

4.Classification of paraffin wax
According to the refinement, it can be divided into three types: fully refined paraffin wax, semi-refined paraffin wax and crude paraffin wax. The first difference is oil content. Fully refined paraffin wax ＜0.5%. Semi-refined paraffin ＜2%. Crude wax ﹥2%.In addition to differences in oil content, they also have differences in color. .The oil content of coarse paraffin is relatively high, and the color of the product is darker. Due to the above reasons and some other reasons, it is relatively poor quality compared with fully refined paraffin with the same melting point.
