Crude paraffin wax (or unrefined paraffin wax) is an inexpensive, workhorse raw material that finds industrial and overall usage. In contrast to fully refined or semi-refined paraffin, it keeps the natural oil content intact and does not undergo intensive purification measures which makes it the best variant of paraffin to use as a business that is pragmatic and economically viable.
Natural oil content & appearance
The oil content of crude paraffin wax is usually 2% - 5% and is light yellow or amber and has a mild and typical paraffin odor. It is also more versatile than highly refined waxes, which requires the use of extra plasticizers in most instances due to its oil content.
Stable melting range
The melting point of crude paraffin wax is usually 50C to 60C, and that is not hard to achieve using simple heating devices There is no high-temperature processing required, so it conserves energy and allows making production cheaper.
